Nathan Clark – desert boot creator dies

I wore my 10 year-old Clarks ‘desert treks’ today in honour of their creator Nathan Clark who died 23 June 2011 aged 94. Clark created the iconic shoe in 1947 on his return from service in the Royal Army Service Corps in North Africa. See his obituary from the Guardian here
