PreposityUniversity A Capella
Over the past year Ben folds’ University A capella album has been in frequent rotation on my headphones. The concept of the album was simple – Folds’ music was proving very popular in university a capella groups, so he set a competition. Arrangements of his songs were sent in from all over the US, and he picked just a handful to record for the album.
Universities groups include The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Loreleis, The West Chester University of Pennsylvania Gracenotes and The Princeton Nassoons among others.
